Winter Birds is an original mixed media collage made of translucent papers, watercolor, and foil. It's always a little startling and reassuring to see the birds that can tolerate Michigan's frigid winters. I was inspired to present these chickadees in a wintry setting by combining translucent papers, foil accents, and glowing colors.
